Yes, take a minute to take in that awesome name 😁

I am a UX Designer specializing in providing the best experience for all people across all walks of life. I spent the majority of my career in office management/Operations where I not only spent my days wrangling the schedules of department heads, doing ad hoc projects, and providing a life-line to the tech challenged, I also had THE most fun providing my colleagues with a great after-work experience. The highlight of my day was when I could speak with them and get a feel for the parties they would like, the activities they would enjoy while at an out of town conference, or the places they would like to have a cool holiday shindig.

I have been tasked to provide a great user experience for colleagues in industries such as advertising, healthcare marketing, and construction. Each industry contains various types of people who enjoy different types of activities. Being able to listen to them, assess their needs and provide them with their best experience was the most awesome part of my job.

It was no surprise that I fell in love with UX a few years later. Being a designer of an experience, even if not digitally, has always been my heart’s joy. Being able to speak to a user, while assessing their wants and needs, then doing the research to provide them with their best experience is the core of UX design. I also love to study human behavior and psychology (as my B.S. in Psychology from SUNY Plattsburgh indicates), trying new brunch spots with friends, swooning at interior design blogs, and watching post apocalyptic shows on Netflix.
